Binaltech: Bumblebee Knock Off
Bumblebee is one of the smallest and physically weakest Autobot. While his stature allows him to do his job better than most Autobots could manage, he is self-conscious about his size. Maybe this is why he makes fast friends among the humans. He looks up (so to speak) to the other Autobots, especially Optimus Prime, but what he doesn’t realize is that they look up to him. He may be small, but he’s brave, an he’s one of the most well-liked Autobots around. Bumlebee already has the respect he craves

Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (Space Suit)
Hasbro released this Obi-Wan Kenobi figure in 2009 as part of the ninth wave of figures from The Clone Wars line. This series of figures are based upon the CGI Clone Wars TV show airing on Cartoon Network, and this time the Jedi master wears a decidedly retro styled spacesuit, complete with fishbowl helmet and rocket pack.
Give That Shadow a Hand (or Two)
There have been a number of multi armed characters in the entertainment world. Which one is this?
Ice Up a Cold One
Readers of this site will find this one easy, I think. I know the figure it came with shows up elsewhere on the site.
Wink
Roughly one year after Hellboy II: The Golden Army premiered at theaters, Mezco produced a handful of 1:18 scale figures based on characters seen in the movie. One of such offerings was a boxed set with four figures. One of these figures was that of Mr. Wink.
Jestergoblin’s Star Wars Blue Milk Recipe
I’ve been following Jestergoblin on Twitter for awhile now. I have to say the commingling of recipes and toy reviews on his site (http://jestergoblin.com/) is a change of pace for the norm. But as a Food Network and toy junkie, I have to say it’s a combination I enjoy. Now he’s amped that up by creating a […]
Hatchet Man
This one is stretching the TVFT name. More of a character seen in movies than from any particular film.
But I Ordered the Calamari
My guess would be this came from some sort of Lovecraft inspired figure. No pressure, but Mrs. Nerd got this one on her second guess.
Is That a Disco Leaf Blower?
Is this a hyper powered leaf blower? Or a squid calling for the check at a restaurant?
Show Me the Money
Yeah. That line is best know for being from “Jerry McGuire”. This accessory is not from that film.
Shrek Gingerbread Man Playset
As with much of the current world, the “collectible” world has seen a rise in prices while companies have sought out ways to make things cheaper. Paint ops, articulation and accessories lead the way when it comes to cost cutting measures. McFarlane Toys used to be at the top of the pyramid for what fans […]
Engineernerd’s Top 10 Creepy Movies
I love scary movies. I’m not that much for over the top gore just to be gross. But I do love a movie that is a just plain good scare. Maybe it’s because my birthday and Halloween share the same month. 1. Phantom of the Opera (Lon Chaney). I know it’s a silent film. But […]
A Shadow of Mrs. Nerd
This character reminds me of Mrs. Nerd. Which is appropriate, since it’s her birthday.
