Jamie Lannister (GoT Mystery Mini)
Warning in advance. The Jamie Lannister Mystery Mini from Funko’s Game of Thrones series 2 line has some later season spoilers. Nothing major, but if you are in season 1 or 2 in viewing, proceed at your own risk.
When he starts, Jamie Lannister is a but of a douche. I hated him and was ready of him to bite it on screen. However, as the seasons progressed, I have to say he started to grow on me.
This Mystery Mini is after his return to King’s Landing. How do I know that? He has his gold hand. It’s held close to his body in a non-aggressive manner. I suspect that this is early from his return as he doesn’t have a sword on.
The had matches his breast plate and shoulder armor. I don’t know if the gold is a little thick or just the sculpt, but all of the detail in these areas seems a bit a bit soft. To finish of his official armor, he has a white cape.
The head has blondish hair. There’s ears sticking out the sides to match his short hair. His face has a few random scars on it. His mouth is almost a painted on frown.
I love the eyes on this guy. They have a bit of circles around them and it really gives him a worn out look. Well done, Funko!
Overall, I wouldn’t have went looking for Jamie in this line. But after getting him, he’s grown on me, much like his character in the show.
