Echo & Fives (Defend Kamino Battle Pack)
This is one of the Battle Packs released in 2011, inspired by one of the more memorable episodes in the third season of the Clone Wars TV show.
You Want E.T. Lego? Go Support It!
I love Lego. I can’t say why, but there is an innocence and cuteness to it that is just works for licensed properties really well. Now, you may or may not be familiar with their Cusoo projects. The idea is fans can make their own projects and submit them. They go through a series […]

Flint (Retaliation)
Despite the recent efforts by Hasbro to reduce articulation all across their action figure lines, I still went out and bought yet another action figure of one of the characters from the second G.I. Joe movie.
Nick Fury (Pop! Vinyl Bobble Head)
As you may know, I’m bald. I’m also a bit angry. So when I saw the Nick Fury Pop! Vinyl, I couldn’t pass him up. For a fairly small figure, he captures Fury’s attitude pretty well. The two tiny fists of fury are balled up making him look like he’s itching for a fight. All […]
April O’Neil
After getting all four of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I found myself craving some more of those toys. After a quick inspection to the stock available at my local stores, I decided to go for the one that seemed to be the less abundant in the first series of figures by Playmates.

Name That…Holy Metal, Batman!
Oh dear, I’ve hit bottom when I’m quoting a Batman movie for a title for one of these.
Moto Superman
If asked what action figure line was the most disappointing in 2013, it would be hard to come up with any other than Mattel’s 4-inch scale line for the Man of Steel movie.
Aayla Secura
Aayla Secura is one of the few characters in the prequels that had always come out looking gorgeous in action figure form.
Phil Robertson
Well, I’m sure if you read the other Duck Dynasty figure reviews, you saw this coming. Phil is the fourth figure in the series and really one of the essential ones. Especially, if you consider he’s the one that founded Duck Commander. Appearance: Phil’s appearance is much more like Uncle Si’s. On the show, Phil […]

Name That…Big Thumb
I do not understand what possible advantage having an extra long thumb would be.
Cyber Ninja (Retaliation)
The Cobra Cyber Ninja is not a terrible concept, but execution leaves something to be desired. The Cyber ninja wears bulky armored vests over a very generic body sculpt. In fact, the whole figure is kitbashed from various sources, most notably the Rise of Cobra EliteViper, with a head taken from some vehicle driver and the legs from the wave 1 version of Storm Shadow.
Name That…Jungle Hat
I’ve never owned a real one of these. Always wanted one, just never had an occasion to wear one.
War Machine (Pop! Vinyl Bobble Head)
I’ll say it. I prefer the War Machine armor over the Iron Man armor. No, I’m not saying war is the solution to things. I just think it makes more sense. Of course, it’s hard to be warlike when you are stylized as a bobble head. Fan’s of Funko will not be surprised by his […]
Lieutenant Thire (Clone Wars)
Well, today I’ll be reviewing Clone Lieutenant Thire, from the Clone Wars gift set released back in 2011. Lieutenant Thire had already been released both as a single carded figure (2009) and in a two-pack with another member of his team (2010), but since those releases are long gone now, I had to get a boxed set to get him.
