Marauder Stands

I’m not a big stand user. However, there are times as an action figure collector you need a stand for a figure that just wants to fall over at the slightest breeze. There’s a number of options out there, and I’ve tried a few of them over the years. However, I was recently intrigued by the Marauder offering.

These come in two styles: shiny black and clear. I decided to try out a couple of the black ones to see how I liked them. While I ordered them singly, they come in larger bulk quantities, as well.

The unique thing about these stands is that they have two different foot pegs. One that fits most modern figures and one that fits vintage GI Joe figures. This is a pretty nice feature. It makes it easier to create displays that mix figures. It also means you can mix and match them if you change your display around and still have enough stands.

These stands do what the Star Wars ROTS stands should have done. Fit together. While they look like puzzle pieces, this shape allows you to put them together in a variety of ways.

You can even put them together at 90 angles to one another. I haven’t found a good use yet, but I’m guessing there could be a ninja kick off the wall that this would be perfect for.

Honestly, these stands are pretty darn nice. I really like the fact that they are plain and interlock. Compared to a circular stand they take up quite a bit less space. The folks that troop build are the ones who will get the most use here. You can setup each figure on its’ unique stand, and then build a perfectly spaced display.

I can see me getting a few of these with every order from now on. Next time will be some clear ones for sure.

Those look really nice. Is the material they are made of rigid?, or, Does it have some flexibility?

The black ones are rigid. They are solid through, as well.
