Captain Keyes
One of the more prominent characters in the Halo mythos is UNSC Captain Jacob Keyes. He was the CO of the USNC vessel Pillar of Autumn from the first Halo game and he was also included in several of the Halo novels written after the game’s success.
Spartan Mk. VI
The Spartan I’m reviewing today is somewhat unusual. You’ll see, when McFarlane Toys started doing figures for the Halo: Reach game, they changed the scale slightly, so all of the figures they had released previously for Halo 3 ended up being shorter than the new ones.
Shae Vizla
Like Darth Malgus, Shae Vizla (VC101) is another character from the Star Wars: The Old Republic online game. She appears for the first time in the same trailer video where Malgus debuted, infiltrating the upper reaches of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and keeping at bay the non-Jedi security forces inside.
UNSC Warthog Combat Edition (Halo 4)
One vehicle that had to be included in Jada Toys’ lineup for the Halo 4 line is the Warthog. Jada produced this vehicle in a couple different scales, both in the Combat Edition and High Gloss finish.
Generator Defense
McFarlane Toys produced the Generator Defense Deluxe Set as part of the sixth and last series of boxed sets shipped under the Halo: Reach label.
Spartan JFO (Series 6)
McFarlane toys released a JFO Spartan (JFO stands for Joint Fires Observer) as part of their sixth series of figures for the Halo: Reach line. Even though this Spartan was intended as an exclusive to Walgreen’s in the USA, everywhere else he seems to ship with the regular assortment of figures, mine bought from a Sears store in Mexico City.
Jun (Series 6)
If there is something I regret about collecting the Halo: Reach action figures made by McFarlane Toys, is playing the long game to get the helmeted version of Jun released in Series 3, which to this day is still missing from my collection.
Brute Major
At a glance, the military ranks in the alien Covenant from the Halo series of games is quite simple. While the ranks system of the Elites and the Grunts tends to get cluttered by very specific specialties, the Brutes seem to do fine by just going with Minors, Majors and Chieftains
Master Chief (Halo 4)
After a fairly successful run producing toys for the Halo games, McFarlane Toys is set to keep the winning streak with action figures based in the upcoming Halo 4 game

UNSC Mongoose (Combat Edition)
One of the new licensees for the Halo franchise is Jada Toys, a company better known for their line of die-cast cars, so it was something of a surprise when the announcement came that they were one of the license-holders to produce toys based in Halo 4.
Elite Ranger
One of the most difficult enemy types encountered in the Halo games is the Elite Ranger. These Elites are equipped with rocket packs that enable them to fly around and they are usually armed with very powerful weapons. Obviously, McFarlane Toys had to include them in their fifth series of figures for the Halo: Reach line.
Darth Malgus
Straight from the Star Wars: The Old Republic videogame, by developer BioWare, comes Darth Malgus, the 96th figure in Hasbro’s Star Wars Vintage Collection.
Halo Megabloks Series 5 & 5.5
Well, one of my guilty pleasures are blind-packaged minifigs. And there is a good deal to choose from, from LEGO to the more varied Megabloks offerings.
Niccolo Machiavelli
The third (and last) historical figure that makes an appearance in Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed: Brotherhood game is Niccolo Machiavelli. Most people know him because he wrote the book The Prince, which is compendium of political principles and whose most paraphrased quotes are “It is better for a ruler to be feared, than to be loved” and “the ends justify the means”.
Cesare Borgia
The main villain in Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed : Brotherhood game is no other than the character whose figure I am reviewing today, Cesare Borgia.
Leonardo Da Vinci
One thing I like most about conventions is the chance to find items that I had no idea they existed at all. One such item is this Leonardo Da Vinci action figure from Unimax.
Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat Klassics)
The other day, I was at a store, perusing the action figure pegs and I came across a 4 inch. Sub-Zero figure that looked substantially different than the one I reviewed not long ago. A closer inspection revealed that Jazwares made another line of MK figures under the “Klassic” moniker, and this was one of them.
Carter (Series 5)
Well, after five series of action figures based on the Halo: Reach license, there is only so much you can do to keep market interest high series after series, especially when the line relies in reusing three or four basic body molds for everything.
Seth
The figure I’m reviewing today is probably the less exciting from Jazwares’ Super Street Fighter IV line. Seth is famed for being something of a disappointment as far as end game boss characters go because of his character design and because his techniques are copied from the special moves used by other characters in the game.
