Iron Man (Modular Armor)
At this point, there are quite a lot of Iron Man figures still clinging to the pegs at stores, either from the Iron Man 2 movie line, or as part of the regular Marvel Universe assortments. However, for the Modular Armor version, Hasbro upped the ante just enough to merit yet another purchase.
Iron Man Mark 1 – Iron Man 2 (Comic Version)
This wasn’t a figure I had planned on getting. If anything, I planned on getting the movie version. However, after finishing Essential Iron Man Volume 1, I changed my mind. I’d never really been an Iron Man fan. I’d be lying if I said the movie didn’t have anything to do with it. Of course, […]
Iron Man Mk.VI (Power Up Glow)
As a matter of principle, I usually shun gimmick figures. In most cases these features are either hideous to look at or mess with the articulation in some way. In the case of this Iron Man figure it is the later scenario but as it turns out, the end result is quite above tolerable in that regard.
Hulkbuster Iron Man
Much like Iron Monger, I was attracted to this figure because it’s a big robot looking dude. From an engineering side, this is much more what I’d expect an Iron Man suit to look like. To be honest, this version of the armor reminds me a bit of the the later issues of “Codename: Spitfire” […]
Iron Man Mark VI – Iron Man 2
This was actually one of the first of the Iron Man 2 figures I bought. Why did I wait so long to review it? Well, I really wanted to wait until I saw the film to understand if there was really anything different in this suit.
Iron Man Mark V – Iron Man 2
The concept behind the Mk. 5 Iron Man armor is fairly simple. Regular Iron Man armor is not that easy to transport nor conceal, therefore Stark developed a bare-bones version that can be lugged around in the form of a large suitcase.
Iron Man Mark II – Iron Man 2
So, What can be said about the Mk.2 armor? The easiest thing is to simply say this is a repaint of the exact same mold used for the Mk.3 armor (and that would be nothing but the truth), although that wouldn’t do this figure justice.
Iron Man Mark I – Iron Man 2
Among the figures Hasbro released as part of the first series of figures in the Iron Man 2 toy line is the Iron Man Mk.1. This particular figure depicts the very first powered armor made by Tony Stark in the 2008 Iron Man movie.
