Ezio Auditore (Legendary Assassin)
Today’s review will be about the main character in the Assassin’s Creed series of games, none other than Ezio, Auditore Da Firenze in his Legendary Assassin garb.
Thor (Blob Series)
One of the characters produced for the second wave in the Hasbro–made Marvel Legends line was Thor. But not just Classic Thor, but the bearded, Lord of Asgard version inspired by artist Walt Simonson’s run in the Thor comic books.
Heimdall
Heimdall has a rather distinctive character design. The armor seems designed to be more ceremonial than utilitarian, and the overall appearance is not quite as Asgardian as one would expect.
Living Dead Dolls Minis – Walpurgis
I normally don’t have incredible luck pulling variants, but I did with this one. I thought Schitzo the Clown was cool enough to warrant buying some more of these creepy little figures, I went back to the well and pulled the rarest of the case assortment with this variant of Walpurgis. Apparently, this occult witch […]
Captain Marvel
Ok, the thing about Captain Marvel here is that he is an entirely generic superhero action figure.
Living Dead Dolls Minis Clown
The older I get, the more I like cute and creepy stuff. I’m not sure what that says about me. So when you combine that and my love of blind box figures, I couldn’t pass by the Living Dead Dolls Minis. The first one I picked was this guy, Schitzo. This is the regular version, […]
Dominic Santiago
I was not really expecting NECA to follow through with their 1:18 scale Gears of War action figures. I figured they’d do the first series and leave it at that, but apparently I was wrong and they came up with three more figures for Series 2.
Hulk (Movie Series)
Movie Series Hulk is well over 8 inches tall and quite heavy. From what I can tell, the body proportions are quite accurate to the CGI model seen in the movie, but even with this height, this Hulk may still be not quite the right size in relation to the regular 6 inch Marvel characters.
Sheldon Cooper
Love it or hate, The Big Bang Theory has become insanely popular in our culture. While a swarm of merchandise is out there. most is for the masses and not really toy collectors. Which is a bit ironic considering the amount of swag the gang owns. Funko is helping out there with it’s BBT Mystery […]
Inferno Cannon Black Widow (Avengers Assemble)
Inferno Cannon Black Widow is sold under the S.H.I.E.L.D. Gear sub-line, which means she is a fairly decently articulated action figure and that she comes packaged with an accessory.
Augustus Cole
The last character in NECA’s second wave of 1:18 scale Gears of War action figures is Augustus Cole. Again, not having played the GoW videogames, I have no real personal connection to the character, but I will concede that he is possibly the best looking in his wave.
Cloak
I barely remember reading a Cloak & Dagger story in a comic book. I do recall that I did not care much for it either, as the plot was extremely dated although the powers of the titular duo were also rather bizarre.
Sandtrooper (Black Series)
A couple years ago, when someone asked me what would it take for me to stop collecting the Hasbro Star Wars action figures I stated that barring a change in scale, I would be pretty much buying them as long as they made them.
Psycho Bandit
I am still one generation behind as far as gaming consoles go, meaning that I have no means of playing Borderlands 2, a game that served as inspiration for the subject of today’s review.
Thor (Movie Series)
It is Thursday, once again. Well, not really, but all the same, today I bring yet another Thor action figure. This time it is the Avengers Movie Series Thor, released ny Habro as Walmart exclusives in the USA around the end of summer 2012.
2013 Year in Review
2013 felt very disjointed for me in terms of collecting. Looking back, I still got some very neat items, but the pacing was completely atrocious for most of the year.
Thor (Marvel Legends)
Well, since I find myself on something of an Asgardian bent, today I’ll talk to you about one figure that came out not too long ago in the Marvel Legends line.
Cato Parasiti
Bounty hunters are pretty much prevalent in the Star Wars universe, although up until the computer animated series we had not really see them actually doing much.
Iron Monger (Build A Figure)
Well, completing this Iron Monger figure took a little bit more work than usual. First off, Hasbro released in two separate waves the action figures containing the pieces to build the ‘monger. This would not have been much to think about, except that both half-waves were released about 6 months apart from each other.
Classic Iron Man (Iron Man Legends)
Last but not least, I got this classic version of Iron Man, released as part of the Iron Monger wave of figures produced by Hasbro and sold under the Iron Man Legends brand.
