Merumeru
Ever since I saw Revenge of the Sith, the notion of a horde of wookiees charging into battle has held a certain appeal to me.
High Ground Bunker (Micro Ops)
The High Ground Bunker is one of the large-carded sets released by McFarlane Toys in their Micro Ops line. In Halo: Reach, High Ground is a multiplayer map that features this bunker as well as a couple other structures.
Drax the Destroyer (Marvel Legends)
Drax the Destroyer may still not be a household name, even after the success of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but at the very least his action figure turned out to be quite great.
Chewbacca (Clone Wars)
One interesting aspect of watching the animated Clone Wars TV series was that sometimes an Original Trilogy character would make a cameo on one episode.
Banshee (Micro Ops)
This Banshee is yet another of the sets released by McFarlane Toys in the Micro Ops line for Halo: Reach.

Marvel Now! Hulk
One of the figures I was keenly interested from the new 3.75-inch scale Marvel Infinite Series was this latest iteration of Hulk.
Watcher (Halo 4)
One of the figures released in Series 1 of McFarlane Toys Halo 4 line was the Promethean Watcher, which I’ll be reviewing today.
Grim Reaper
It is no secret that a good number of my action figure purchases are directly inspired by the video games I indulge upon.
Mara Jade
Even though Black Series Mara Jade is still a pretty decent action figure, it is also the first Star Wars figure I have ever bought, whose purchase owes more to external reasons than to the actual merits of the figure.
Elite Ranger (Halo 4)
In Halo 4 all of the Covenant troop types got a facelift to make them more “modern” therefore, the action figures manufactured by McFarlane Toys also reflect the new aesthetic.
Hyperion (Infinite Series)
I am not a fan of the Hyperion character. I’ve already bought the 6-inch Marvel Legends figure that came out with the Hit Monkey wave mostly because of the Build-A Figure parts, but I was certainly was not expecting to see a 4-inch version of that character anytime soon.
Halo 4 Master Chief (Series 2)
One thing McFarlane Toys does regularly with their Halo lines, is re-issuing Spartan action figures as much as they can. This holds true also for Halo 4, where for Series 2 we get treated to yet another release of the Master Chief in his more recent set of armor.
Sabretooth (Marvel Legends)
This version of X-Men baddie Sabretooth is another of those based off the Hyperion body mold, which is suitably bulky and tall. Sabretooth is massively muscular, and this particular version of his costume lacks any of the furry bits usually associated with the character.
Jason Vorhees (Battle Damaged)
This 7-inch figure was manufactured by NECA for their Friday the 13th license, and depicts Jason as he appeared in the fourth movie in the series.
Astonishing Wolverine (Marvel Legends)
Some time ago, I reviewed the Wolverine action figure released in the Hit Monkey wave of figures from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends line.

Sergeant Craig Windrix
You may be surprised to learn that there was no mention of Sergeant Craig Windrix anywhere in the Alien mythos, be it movies, books or even comics.
Astonishing Cyclops (Marvel Legends)
The more recent Astonishing Cyclops uses the same basic body mold developed for Archangel and a variety of characters with similar physiques.
Harley Quinn & Joker (Imaginext)
Harley Quinn & Joker came out in 2014 in the DC Superheroes Imaginext line, and they both are quite interesting figures to look at.
